IT Support Specialist

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our technology team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, helping users resolve hardware, software, and system-related problems while ensuring a smooth day-to-day IT experience.

You’ll work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain systems, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT support processes.

• Provide first- and second-line technical support to end users

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues

• Respond to support requests via ticketing system, email, chat, or phone

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and software

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights

• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required

• Document issues, solutions, and procedures in the knowledge base

• Assist with system updates, patches, and security best practices

• Support onboarding and offboarding of employees

• Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role

• Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems

• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests

• Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)

• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices

• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or similar)
